Who thinks Microsoft Great Plains is the WORST accounting software and least user friendly?
I've used many accounting software programs and this is the most frustrating software I have ever used. You can't find a simple answer to anything, simple tasks are many step procedures and try and find anything in their reference material. You get charged an arm and a leg to ask operating questions.

How much would it cost to contract an ACCOUNTANT for a couple weeks each year?
I have a business and want to make sure everything is in tact for the IRS. I came up with the idea of hiring a Accountant for a couple weeks to straighten out my book keeping and statements. Is this a good idea and how much would it run? I am the type who would go back to college just to have it done right and who also feels them tricky account software programs will not fulfill all areas that i want to cover. HELP business professors, business owners, and accountants!

I will be graduating from college very soon and I need to learn an accounting software program like quickbooks. Does anyone know of any sites that can help me out or any books? I am trying to get a job at a CPA firm but I know I need to learn a software program.
