From a business software perspective, what is a run-time fee? Is it different than a distribution or user fee?

Peachtree or Quickbooks- better for start up business?
Which do you think is better? Do you have pros or cons for either? I'm an accountant so I'm used to working with big business software like MAS and Peoplesoft. I'm basically looking for which one has better GL capabilites, since the bulk of what we will need to record are revenues and expenses. So I'm looking for good, easy to use GL reports. Thanks

a business software that's used for taking notes when on a call to a customer?
I'm looking for a product that is used for taking notes when customers call in. my company needs this so that when another employee talks to the customer they know what was discussed in the last call by looking at the notes that was left by the last employee. like what banks have. they make notes of all your calls so they can look back at the notes if there are any disputes. I have a small business and only want a software for that, I don't need a fancy program that's all singing and dancing. something basic that can be used by 5 users on different PCs. anyone know anything? thank you :)
