Merge two databases (SQL & Access) Problem?
Well, I've two databases the first one is access & the second one is SQL & they hold the same data they have the same tables, but at the Access data base I've a column which data type is auto-number & every time I add new record in the access DB I've to copy it to the SQL DB because SQL don't have auto number data type How I can get rid of the access database and depend only on the SQL DB without any data loss, and how to come over the auto number problem ?

Red indicator light when HDD read/writes?
I have two LEDs in the front of my case that are usually blue but flash red when my hard drive reds or writes data. I know this because the flashes are in sync with noises the HDD makes (they are normal HDD noises, I don't think there is any problem there.) I haven't experienced any data loss that I have noticed and the transfer rates were rated at 5.9 in windows index so are the lights just a feature or am I over looking some problem? It's a seagate 7200rpm 32mb cache sata 3gb/s Thanks!

can you merge 2 partitions into one?
say like i had a hard drive, with 2 partitions, but i wanted to remove or merge one, so it's just one partition again, is that possible, i think it was something available on the windows xp install disk, not sure. not worried about data loss, in this case.
