Help recovering deleted FLV files?
I need help in recovering 2 FLVs (Flash Video Files) I have accidentally deleted from my Recycle Bin. They were downloaded through KeepVid from YouTube and I need them back! I require a deleted file recovery program which supports .flv formats, preferably free or demo. I just need to recover these two files, and I want a program that actually works! I've tried PC Inspector File Recovery and Restoration, but they didn't work! Please help, the one who suggests a program which can help save my files gets the Best Answer!

ntfs recovery--ntfs security?
I have the IDE drive from my old laptop. It ran XP Pro SP2 and the disk is NTFS. When I try to read it on another computer, I can't find the files in the My Documents folder. I know they are there. I found a utility that finds them. It costs $100, and I wonder if there's anything else out there that works for less. I understand I could recover the files by booting the system with Linux, too. There are lots of deleted file recovery utilities out there, but I'm looking for something that allows me to overcome the security settings on the files on the drive. I've tried the DOS attrib -r command and it works on some files but not the ones in My Documents folder.

Recovered a deleted file, but it's incomprehensible?
Every time I recover deleted files, they turn out looking like ®½æ¥£}? instead of text. Some recovered files show up saying "iPod directory" and things like that. Am I doing something wrong or are these just the limitations of deleted file recovery?
