Microsoft word recovery?
The windows update came out and forced my computer to reset while i was away from the computer, i was doing my coursework on microsoft word but when it reset and i opened ms word there was no recovery file? Does this mean it did not save, how did this happen, i thought it gives the recovery file everytime it is not shut down properly unless the update clicked no to save or something...? Main thing is that i want to know if ican get the file back because i spent a long time doing it :( I've set it to save a backup every 3 minutes, i assumed this along with the recovery file would be enough for pretty much all situations but this windows update is ridiculous. I've found a few .asd files, how do i open them?

Microsoft Word Recovery?
OK so, i was using my laptop to do an assignment on Microsoft Word 2007, got bored, and shut my laptop, so it went onto hibernate. I re=opened it, and it said that there were documents that had been recovered, did I want to save them? I looked at them, and thought that i had saved the ones in there. After this happens, I find that i didn't in fact save it. Is there anyway to get those files back???

Microsoft Word recovery question...?
I have Windows Vista and I am still getting used to all of the new functions/arrangements of the Microsoft Word program. I downloaded a document from my gmail account but only clicked open instead of save. I began working on the downloaded document and then closed it when I was ready to shut down my computer. I clicked the "save" button numerous times but never actually named the file. It showed at the top filename[1].doc or something to that effect. Is there any way that I can recover this document? Surely it saved somewhere? Any help would be appreciated. I have already checked in my auto-recover folder.
