Any ideas why my computer does not run things well?
My computer is a sony vaio.
Its specs consist of:
4Gb Ram
Intel core duo 2 2.20Ghz Processor
I am running windows 7 64-bit
Mobile Intel 4 series exress chipset graphics
1366 x 768 Screen resolution
I Scan for viruses more then any person in the world probably.(About 5-8 times a day. Including backups, viruses, disk optimization, and even registry clean up.)
I feel as though my computer has decent enough specs to play a few games and what not but in order to play sims 3 almost every setting must be all the way down. Same for Minecraft. which minecraft doesnt demand much. This is begining to frustrate me bc people with lesser specs have no problem with these games. I do not download many things simply because i want my games to run smoothly.
If anyone at all has any idea why this would be like this, or requires addition information let me know. Thank you for any and all input :)

what's a really good pc tune up software that's free?
ok well i just got my laptop about a month ago and it's great. but i know that it's going to start running slow and having problems just like any other computer. i want to get a program that will clean it all up whenever i want it to. fix the registry, clean the disk of cookies and unwanted crap. you know all that kind of stuff. i saw this one program that looks like it would do just that but it cost money of course. which sucks cause it looks like it would do everything to make sure my laptop always runs perfect. it's called PC health advisor. http://www.pchealthadvisor.com/ there's a link so you guys can see what kind of software i want. i want all that but i want it to be FREE. does that even exist?
