Why won't my Netgear router connect to my wireless router?
Yeah I have Windows Vista and just did a total system recovery and deleted my hard drive (purposely) and everything lose went great. Until I tried to connect to the Internet. At first, I just tried to connect to my wifi (which has ""excellent"" connection) and put in my password and it said its "connected with limited access". However, when I try to go somewhere on Internet explorer it says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". The weird part is that it was always working perfectly about three hours ago before I did the system restore! Also the strength is perfect (from that same wifi connection) on my iPhone, which i am painfully using now.. Then, although of coursi already installed the netgear router (wih the cd) I rendundantly tried to the setup, and it immeadiately said said "No Adapter | No working adapter was connected" and stuff about my Ethernet adapter being disable or no adapter is installed on the computer... Its like duh i cant install anything cause i don have an internet connection! I have Winows Vista and my Laptop is a Toshiba Satellite if that helps. Thanks (:

Windows Startup Problem?
Hi everyone, I have one of the HP Slimline hardrives with windows 7 installed, the monitor is also from hp and two days ago, i have had a start up problem - windows wont start up. Heres what happened: When i open the computer, it goes to a black screen with words saying launch startup repair (recommended), when i click on it, it says loading files or something, then, it goes to a blue screen with light coming in, however, after this, nothing happens? (I know that a box or something should come up as it has happened before) So, since nothing appears, i dont know whats the problem or what i should do? I have contacted HP but they weren;t any help because my warranty had expired, but they recommended me to see a local technician and he also recommended a system recovery but i dont want to lose all my files!!! Anyways, do you have any solutions of what i should do or how i could fix it???? Very Appreciate any help! There were suggestions of running recovery, starting it normally - it wont work because i cant get onto the log in screen - the problem is that windows is not starting up, you know when it goes to the black screen and the windows logo slowly comes together and goes to the log on screen, well, the logo stops there and wont go onto the log on screen, so i cant access anything, when i try start up repair nothing happens as well...anyways, thanks for your suggestions! please keep them coming! :)
