how do I run a word document recovery?
I was working on a word document that i had not saved yet and my sister logged off my account and didn't save it i'm just wondering if i can get it recovered or not.

Need to open corrupt or damaged Microsoft Word documents.?
I had a hard drive crash and used an undelete utility to recover my files. About half of the .doc Word files give a error when opening: "Select the encoding the makes your document readable." And contains a whole list of various languages and formats, radio buttons for "Windows (default), MS-DOS, Other encoding" There is also a preview window. No combination of the buttons and list will make the document look like anything other than scrambled characters (mostly the weird pronuciation guide type characters). Things that don't work: -Every Word Document recovery program available online. -Opening it in notepad or other word processing program (same scrambled results) -Dragging the file into an already open Word Document (same scrambled results) -Wishing really had they'd just work. I really need some of this any any help would be great. I can send you a file or two to mess with yourself if you'd like. Thanks in advance.
